The “Resilient and Green Nicosia” Workshop will be held from October 8-13, in collaboration with the Nicosia Turkish Municipality, Near East University Faculty of Agriculture, Ufuk Planning, and the Chamber of Landscape Architects of the Turkish Cultural Center (KTMMOB). This workshop will bring together students, experts, and academics from the Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Forest Engineering departments. Presentations will be made during this academic event, and working groups will develop recommendations for a greener and more resilient Nicosia.
This workshop aims to bring together academics, local governments, experts, and civil society representatives to provide a common platform for discussion and knowledge sharing on the planning, management, and implementation strategies of resilient cities.
