The Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Agriculture at Near East University presented awards to academics who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in education, scientific research, and community service.

As part of the awards given by the Faculty Dean’s Office, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Valiollah Palangi was deemed worthy of the “Scientific Activity Award” for his valuable contributions to scientific research, publications, projects, and academic work at national and international levels.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Buket Asilsoy was honored with the “Community Service Award” for her outstanding efforts in community service, contributions to social responsibility projects, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Çelik received the “Efficient Education Award” for his high performance in education, contributions to student success, and effective work in his classes.

Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Prof. Dr. Özge Özden stated that the academics’ work in the areas of scientific productivity, quality of education, and social contribution significantly contributes to the development of the faculty, and congratulated the award-winning faculty members. It was emphasized that making academic achievements visible and encouraging them significantly contributes to the university’s mission of education, research, and service to society.
