Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Prof. Dr. Özge Özden participated in the “Marine and Coastal Protection Management Workshop” organized by the consortium led by Stantec on October 17-18, 2024, under the name of the Environment for Cyprus project, funded by the EU Aid Program for the Turkish Cypriot community.

Özden, who touched upon the need to share information, develop strategies and provide cooperation on sustainable management of marine ecosystems and coastal areas on the island of Cyprus, also underlined that the public should be informed on these issues and awareness-raising strategies should be developed.

The event provided an opportunity for participants to share their ideas, share their experiences and produce common solutions.
