In her presentation, she emphasized the connection between human health and ecosystems and the importance of food safety.
She also stated that access to safe and sufficient food, which is one of the basic human rights, is critical not only for health but also for sustainable development and the preservation of biodiversity. The “One Health” concept emphasized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adun is an integrated approach that optimizes not only human health but also the health of animals and plants. She touched on the fact that this approach plays an important role in preventing global epidemics, ensuring food security and preserving biodiversity.
Finally, she stated that science and art are like the two wings of a bird and that societies that can use these two wings can achieve freedom.
