Artificial Intelligence and Climate Change in Beekeeping: Near East University Faculty of Agriculture Represented TRNC at Interfresh Eurasia!

Prof. Dr. Özge Özden, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Near East University, participated as an invited speaker at the Interfresh Eurasia Global Conferences held at the İzmir İZFAŞ Conference Halls from September 18–20, 2025.

Prof. Dr. Özden, along with our faculty’s Vice Dean, Prof. Dr. Salih Gücel, and the Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence and Informatics, Prof. Dr. Fadi Al-Turjman, presented a presentation titled “World Climate Change and Artificial Intelligence Applications in Beekeeping.”

In her speech, Prof. Dr. Özden discussed the impacts of climate change on beekeeping and the contributions of AI-supported systems to bee health and productivity, emphasizing the importance of digitalization and science-based approaches in agricultural production.

Prof. Dr. Özge Özden’s participation further demonstrated the contribution of the Near East University Faculty of Agriculture to scientific research and sustainable agricultural development.
